August 2020 vs April 2019



This week I thought I'd post the couple's version of progression shots because, in our house, it isn't just myself who has gone through a bit of a transformation. Also, this man deserves a shout out.


When you're trying to lose weight or change your eating habits it's a completely mental battle. Every day, every meal you're faced with a decision – do you eat on plan or do you give in to old habits? There are also the odd physical cravings to beat too, especially when sugar is concerned! It's vital that you have support when you start your journey, whether it's from a partner, friends, family or a coach. But what's even more paramount is that the support continues to be there for you, particularly on days when you feel you're losing your way.


This man has been amazing. He's purposely tried to not eat foods that he knows I'm avoiding and has even adapted recipes that he's wanted to cook so that they're more smart-point-budget friendly for me. Through all of this he's been on his own journey and lost a good amount of weight, too!


I've had a pretty strong mindset through these past few months and kept to my plan but I know that if he hadn't been more supportive I would have slipped off track more than a few times and not been reaching my targets.


Team work makes the dream work, people :)
